JOB DESCRIPTION

Cloverdale Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Assistant (EA) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, fostering an inclusive and faith-filled educational environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education Assistant Certification (required)
• Experience working with a variety of diverse learners
• Strong understanding of strategies to support students with diverse needs
• Demonstrates professionalism and integrity in all interactions
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to take direction well and implement instructional strategies effectively
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally through ongoing development
• A love for the Catholic faith and a commitment to fostering a Christ-centered learning environment
• Preference will be given to practicing Catholic candidates

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with classroom teachers and Learning Support staff to provide individualized and small-group support
• Assist students with academic tasks, social-emotional development, and daily routines
• Implement a variety of strategies and adaptations to support student learning and engagement
• Foster a welcoming and supportive classroom environment that reflects Catholic values
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of the role
• Participate in school-wide activities and contribute positively to the school community
