The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese  (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. JOB DESCRIPTION

St. Patrick’s School, in Maple Ridge, is seeking a passionate and faith-filled Music Teacher to join our team.

If you have a love for music, singing, band, and sharing the joy of music with students in a Christ-centered environment, we want to hear from you.  

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach general music classes from Kindergarten to Grade Seven

- Lead student choir and facilitate vocal instruction

- Organize and direct school performances and liturgical music

- Encourage participation in school band and help students grow their instrumental skills in Grades 6-7

- Instill a love of music rooted in faith and creativity

Ideal Candidate Will:

- Be a practicing Catholic with a love for God and a desire to serve through education

- Have experience teaching music to children and leading musical groups

- Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills

- Be comfortable with both vocal and instrumental instruction

- Collaborate well with faculty, students, and families

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics, non-Catholics, new education grads, and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.
