JOB DESCRIPTION

Holy Trinity Elementary is seeking a passionate, dedicated, enthusiastic Full-Time Elementary Kindergarten Teacher to join our vibrant school community starting in September 2025. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, faith-based environment, where you will play a key role in shaping the academic, spiritual, and personal growth of our students. It is a beautiful school building with great resources, and opportunities for a new or experienced teacher.

As an integral member of the Holy Trinity team, the successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues, engage with parents, and contribute to an atmosphere of respect, teamwork and excitement for learning. We value team members who are passionate about education and enjoy creating an engaging, fun, and positive workplace and classroom experience. This really is a great place to work, with awesome staff, and great families. We take time to have fun together as a staff.

Candidates must have a valid BC Teacher Regulation Branch certification or have applied to the TRB and the certificate is pending. Previous experience teaching in an elementary school setting is preferred, but if you are just graduating from your Professional Development Program and are eager and excited to teach, this might be the first year of wonderful career in teaching children.

Salaries and benefits as per the CISVA salary scale.

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics, non-Catholics, new education grads, and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply. Our major hiring season is in April for the following school year, but we recommend that you apply now as we receive an influx of applications.
