St. Francis Xavier provides a respectful, inclusive and robust learning and working environment. Our committed staff endeavors to develop the intellectual, physical and spiritual potential of every student through engaging them in their daily learning and extra-curricular activities. SFX is very supportive of its staff. We provide many professional development opportunities and enormous support to ensure that our staff achieve success in their practice and enjoy working in our school.
In addition to the curriculum stipulated by the British Columbia Ministry of Education, we have a unique component in our program – Chinese as a subject. Students learn to listen, speak, read and write in Chinese four days every week. We believe this will help our students to develop an appreciation of Chinese culture and tradition.
